Shareholders of Harris & Harris Group may be interested to know that Cobalt Biofuels opened its first pilot plant for a tour by California's governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, followed by a press conference that included local trade groups and other local clean power startups, demonstrating the importance of clean technology to the state's future economic vitality. During this live event, Cobalt Biofuels CEO, Rick Wilson, told the audience that the company is producing biobutanol at its pilot facility and will be able to scale up to a commercial facility within the next two years and multiple facilities by 2014.
