Harris & Harris Group, Inc., shareholders may be interested to know that Nanomix, Inc., (www.nano.com) was awarded a $1 million project grant from the Department of Homeland Security. The Nanomix grant will cover a three-year period and will be developed in cooperation with the Naval Research Laboratories. For security reasons, the scope of the project will not be disclosed.
Harris & Harris Group is an investor in privately held Nanomix.
