Xradia's MicroXCT Scanner Used to Study Famous Fossil

Shareholders of Harris & Harris Group, Inc., may be interested to know that researchers at The University of Texas have completed the first high-resolution CT scan of the world's most famous fossil, Lucy, an ancient human ancestor who lived 3.2 million years ago.  Several of Lucy's skeletal elements were scanned with the ultra high-resolution Xradia MicroXCT scanner.  The press release from The University of Texas at Austin may be accessed at http://www.utexas.edu/news/2009/02/06/lucy_fossil/.
